Located in Southwest American is this State of Arizona, the state which owns the Grand Canyon and various terrains, national forests, parks as well as Indian reservations. Arizona is the 48th state in US, with neighboring states being California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado and Sonara. It is the biggest landlacked state in terms of population.

Arizona is best known for its desert climate as well as desert langscape full of cactus. From middle to southern Arizona, the desert climate brings mild winters and very hot summers. Humidity is low and the daily day-and-night temperature difference can be as big as 28 °C in summer months. Compare to central and southern Arizona, the northern third of the state located at higher altitudes and therefore milder summers and colder winters.

 27% of Arizona is forest, while mountains and plateaus occupied over half of the state.  The most famous natural wonder is the Grand Canyon.

Getting there

Arizona has two major airports, namely Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and the Tucson international Airport, serving both international and domestic flights. Other four regional airports are available within the state serving domestic flights.

All parts of Arizona are accessible by highways. The State is also well connected by highway to all its neighboring states. Bus and trains provide services connecting the cities within the state.
